Quality Assurance

Quality Control

Quality is not a final check — it is integrated into every stage of NIZOWI's manufacturing process. From incoming material inspection to pre-shipment verification, our multi-stage quality control system ensures that every pair of shoes meets the standards your customers expect. With 20 years of manufacturing for global markets, we know that consistent quality is the foundation of B2B trust — and we take it seriously.

Quality control in footwear manufacturing is about catching issues before they become problems. A stitch that is slightly loose in production becomes a seam failure after weeks of wear. A color that is slightly off in one batch becomes a customer return and a damaged brand reputation. At NIZOWI, quality control is not a department that checks shoes at the end of the line — it is a system embedded in every stage, from material procurement through final packing. Our QC team works alongside production, not after it.

The quality journey begins before production starts. Incoming materials — leather hides, PU rolls, hardware, buckles, outsoles, and packaging — are inspected against specifications and approved reference samples. Materials that do not meet our standards are rejected before they reach the production floor. During production, QC inspectors are stationed at critical points: cutting (checking pattern accuracy and material utilization), stitching (checking stitch density, tension, and seam alignment), lasting (checking upper-to-last fit and symmetry), assembly (checking sole bonding, heel attachment, and overall construction), and finishing (checking cleaning, polishing, and final appearance). Issues caught in-line are corrected immediately, preventing defective pairs from progressing further.

After production, every pair undergoes final inspection — a 100% visual and dimensional check covering stitching quality, material appearance, color consistency, size accuracy, and overall finishing. Pairs that pass final inspection proceed to packing. Before shipment, an AQL-based random sampling inspection provides a final statistical verification of quality. Throughout the process, we conduct durability tests: adhesion strength testing for sole bonds, abrasion resistance testing for upper and lining materials, color fastness testing, and flex testing for outsoles. QC reports and inspection photos are available to buyers at every stage — we believe transparency is essential to building long-term manufacturing partnerships.

Quality Control System

Multi-stage quality assurance integrated throughout the manufacturing process — because quality cannot be inspected in at the end.

  • Incoming material inspection: all leather, fabric, hardware, and components checked before production
  • In-line production checks: quality monitored at cutting, stitching, lasting, assembly, and finishing stages
  • Final inspection: 100% inspection of finished pairs — stitching, bonding, color, size, and finishing
  • Pre-shipment inspection: AQL-based random sampling for final verification before packing and dispatch
  • Durability testing: adhesion strength, abrasion resistance, color fastness, and flex testing
  • QC reports and photos provided upon request — full transparency throughout production

Frequently Asked Questions

What quality control processes does NIZOWI follow?
NIZOWI implements a multi-stage quality control system. Stage 1: Incoming material inspection — all leather, fabric, hardware, and components are checked for conformance to specifications before entering production. Stage 2: In-line production checks — QC inspectors monitor quality at each production station: cutting accuracy, stitching quality, lasting alignment, sole bonding, and finishing. Stage 3: Final inspection — 100% of finished pairs are checked for visual defects, size accuracy, color consistency, and overall finishing. Stage 4: Pre-shipment inspection — AQL-based random sampling verifies quality before packing. QC reports with photos are available at each stage upon request.
Can I request third-party quality inspection?
Yes, we welcome third-party inspection. Buyers can arrange inspection through agencies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or their own QC representatives. We coordinate access to our facility and provide all necessary support for third-party inspections. Many of our long-term buyers use a combination of our internal QC and periodic third-party audits.
What happens if quality issues are found?
If quality issues are identified at any stage, we address them immediately. In-line issues are corrected in real time by our production team. Final inspection rejects are reworked if possible, or remade if the defect cannot be corrected. Pre-shipment inspection failures trigger a full re-inspection of the batch. For post-delivery issues, we have a clear claims process and work with buyers to resolve any quality concerns. Our goal is zero-defect delivery, and our quality processes are designed to catch and correct issues before they leave the factory.
How do you ensure quality consistency across repeat orders?
Consistency is maintained through several mechanisms: approved samples serve as the reference standard for all repeat production; material specifications and supplier records are maintained so the same materials are used across orders; production records document every process parameter; and the same QC protocols are applied to every order regardless of size. For buyers with recurring orders, we maintain production files that capture all specifications, approved materials, and quality standards to ensure batch-to-batch consistency.
