Sample Development

In footwear manufacturing, the sample is everything. It is your opportunity to validate design, fit, materials, finishing, and overall quality before committing to production. At NIZOWI, sample development is treated as a collaborative process between our design and production teams and you, the buyer. We do not consider a sample "done" until you are fully satisfied — every detail from stitching tension to buckle finish to insole comfort is open for revision and refinement.

Our sample development process begins with a clear design brief. We review your sketches, reference images, material preferences, and target specifications. Our pattern makers and sample room technicians then produce the first sample using the exact materials, colors, and construction methods that will be used in production. This is critical — many manufacturers produce "salesman samples" with premium materials that do not reflect production reality. At NIZOWI, your sample is built to production spec, so what you approve is exactly what you will receive in bulk.

Once the first sample is complete, we conduct an internal quality check and send you detailed photos. The sample is then shipped to you for in-person evaluation. You assess fit on a fit model, examine materials and finishing, check color accuracy, and evaluate overall aesthetics. Any adjustments — material changes, color tweaks, construction modifications, fit refinements — are documented and a revised sample is produced. This iterative cycle continues until you sign off. The approved sample is retained as the gold standard reference for bulk production quality.
